Parent Tutoring Program Coordinator

The mission of the Halifax Helpers is to ensure that every student receives the necessary academic assistance to become confident learners. The Halifax Helpers organization offers free online tutoring and language sessions for elementary, junior high school, and high school students, along with their caregivers.

Parent Tutoring Program Coordinator:

• Coordinating a timeline for the program to run with SchoolPlus Partners
• Communicating with SchoolsPlus Partners regarding any updates involving the program
• Addressing inquiries through email sent by individuals involved in the program 
• Collaborating with other THH departments and SchoolsPlus to devise effective outreach plans, aiming to expand the program throughout the province
• Communicating and providing assistance to parent tutors

1 - 2 Hours per week minimum, choose your own hours
